Our client operates in business-critical IT and data environments where availability, security, and performance are crucial. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consultant role and have experience in database operations, administration, and optimization. As a Database Administrator / DBA, you will work at the client's site in a technically important role, responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient database environments.

What you will be working with

• Operations, monitoring, and optimization of databases
• Backup, restoration, and disaster recovery work
• Patching, upgrades, and ongoing administration
• Data migration, integrations, and support in data platform work
• Performance analysis, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
• Collaboration with developers, architects, and business units regarding data-driven solutions

Key Competencies

• Experience as a Database Administrator / DBA in operations or administration environments
• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Practical experience with backup/restore, security, and access control
• Experience in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and capacity work
• Ability to work in a structured, solution-oriented manner, close to other technical roles
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, or Google Cloud SQL
• Knowledge of SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or other integration/ETL flows
• Experience with high availability, replication, Always On, Log Shipping, or clustering
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, T-SQL, or Python
• Certifications in database management, cloud, or related areas
